We then played at various venues around Shrewsbury, Shropshire and Manchester.
One of our most memorable gigs was when we Played The Castle in Coleham, Shrewsbury on January 12th, 2002.
At the time it was the "in" place to play if you were a live band. It was the place to be if you wanted some exposure.
We crammed onto that tiny stage and played for all our worth.
We had a guest harmonica player too that night, a guy called Blind Willey Hogseye or Tim Parker.
What a fantastic night we had as did everybody who supported us.
I have seen some fantastic bands in The Castle but sadly the local council has seen fit to put an end to live music at this venue.
It seems when it comes to "live music" the minority get the biggest shout.
A few complaints led to the absolute death of The Castle in Coleham.
Laws enforced by the council now only let most pubs within residential areas host "Duo's" or "Solo" artist's.
A very sad state of affairs. !!
